Since 2001, Mike and Rosa Gross have been entertaining audiences with their knife throwing act, performing as "The Great Grossini" and "The Amazing Rosa", now performing as "One Sharp Marriage"!
Mike's passion for knives began when he saw a set of tomahawks on display at Fort William Henry at Lake George NY about 10 years ago. Something ignited in him, and he ordered a set of throwing knives and tomahawks as soon as he returned from the trip. He's been hooked ever since. Rosa's passion for performing wasn't as instantaneous. With some gentle hinting for Rosa to join him in his practice sessions, Rosa found herself getting closer and closer to the target. The adventure began! In a matter of days, the daring and fearless Rosa, impressed with the accuracy of Mike's throws, decided to hold a balloon in her hand as Mike popped it with a knife. Next time the balloon was in her mouth. Demonstrating trust, love and friendship is what they love best about performing their act. They truly are best friends. |

| Mike has been entertaining audiences since 1984 playing bass guitar in a band, acting in local dramatic presentations or just doing magic, card tricks for family, friends or children. Rosa has always been by his side as a spectator but thankfully has gotten into the act and has established herself as an entertainer in her own right. Seeing her endear herself to the audience with her captivating smile and graceful avoidance of the knives, tomahawks and assorted "sharp" things, as they pass through her long brown hair or the balloon in her hand or between her legs, as she stands on her head against the wooden impalement board, earns her the the title "The Amazing Rosa". |  |
A native New Yorker, Mike was born in Brooklyn. Rosa is a native of Postelasio Italy, and now a US citizen. They are the parents of 3 grown children and 6 grandchildren and live in western Massachusetts with their Yellow Labrador Retrievers "Rocksy" and "Maize". When not performing or practicing their knife throwing act, Mike and Rosa both work for Berkshire Health Systems. They enjoy anything outdoors, going to car shows and local cruises with Rosa's 1968 Pontiac GTO and/or Mike's 1966 Buick GS. Mike and Rosa love attending the county fairs, circuses and sideshows. Mike is an avid sports fan who has been a life long fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Green Bay Packers. They especially enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren.
